Oh, Disneyland: The Happiest (and most crowded) Place on Earth! :) I've been there a total of about three times, but my trips have been pretty uneventful. The first couple of times are trips in which I can hardly remember. I was little! Basically the only thing I can remember is being scared to go on anything aside from Dumbo lol. My most recent trip was about five or six years ago. My mom, dad, brother, sister, and myself all went for Christmas. It was fun to see Disneyland during Christmas, and I especially enjoyed the Nightmare Before Christmas themed Haunted Mansion, but we just didn't do as much as I had hoped. My parents don't usually get on rides and Matthew was too scared and Paula was too little. That meant that I was stuck on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. It's fun, but I wanted a bigger thrill. Something like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!
Well a couple of months ago, I was talking to my oldest best friend Kelsey. One way or another, we got onto the subject of Disneyland. We started talking about all the rides and such, and to her surprise, she realized that I had been on hardly any of them. She named basically every ride there and I said that I hadn't been on them. She was even more surprised when I said I had never even set foot into California Adventure. It was then that she vowed to someday take me to Disneyland so I could truly experience the magic.
Fast forward a few months and the vacation was all planned. We were set to leave on March 13th for the ultimate Disney Vacation: Three Days of Disneyland AND California Adventure! I waited in anticipation for weeks, it was the only thing that was getting me through the tedious school days. Finally after all that waiting, the time had come!!
Here we go! Hair not done and no makeup...So ready for vacation :)
Madison playing her DS
Kelsey's parents
I guess there was something wrong with her elbow? Lol.
She seriously fell asleep this way! Hahaha
We have arrived! The first picture of the day :)
Yay for seeing the castle! Boo for bad quality :(
First Stop: Indiana Jones! Which is a really awesome ride, by the way :)
After Indiana Jones, we went on Splash Mountain. Which is the greatest place for photos -___-
Kelsey being a loving big sister on the way to Space Mountain. Very rare lol.
(Oh and this is where my mom's camera started to act up so at some point I began using Kelsey's sister's camera.)
After the Matterhorn, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Space Mountain, it was time for:
TOON TOWN! The only part of Disneyland I remember lol.
After more Disney shenanigans, it was time for California Adventure!
Looks cool!
A is for Ahhh...typical tourist picture lol.
I'm a beautiful butterfly!!
I looooooved the lights! I was cracking up for ten minutes haha.
It was soooo adorable in there!!!
It's Tough To Be a Bug
Before the show started
Oh and the show was by far the scariest thing we did during the trip lol.
After we left A Bug's Land, we ran into the Pixar Parade!
I had really been hoping to see this one!:)

He doesn't like confrontation...and he also doesn't want to use his head
"Who's behind?" "....Mine."
Lighting McQueen himself!
And of course, Tow Mater :)
After enjoying the awesome parade, we went on California Screamin' which is a roller coaster and is also my favorite ride, surprisingly!
Here's a lovely view of the ferris wheel with some of the coaster visible :) and you can also see.......THE MALIBOOMER! DUN DUN DUN!!!!
Alright, so although I had gained this new sense of bravery, nothing could compel me to get on the Maliboomer. I just looked like a bad idea lol. And I'm totally not a get-shot-into-the-air-45-stories-in-one-second-then-get-dropped-down type of person. But apparently Kelsey and her sister are so here there are :)
Insanity, I say!
Last but not least on my list of highlights is the Tower of Terror
*Cue Twilight Zone Theme*
As I mentioned before, I gained this new bravery all of a sudden so I was all for going on the Tower of Terror. Not even when everyone else started to get nervous did I chicken out. No, it was right after the closed the doors and the elevator began going up....when it was too late! It was at this moment that I remembered I did not enjoy being shot up in the air and/or dropped. Whoops! I screamed my head off, I'm not going to lie. And although I got pretty scared, it was fun! I went on it again :) And screamed just as I had before. But hey, at least I didn't chicken out!
Finally....after three whole days of walking and having a blast, it was time to leave. And in the midst of all that fun, I made sure to get my family some souvenirs :)
It's an oven mitt! I wish I could've gotten all the other cooking accessories.
He needs more cups...believe me...
I rule! :)With love, Alexis :)
I'm glad you had fun!! That's what spring break is all about
